We are two-thirds of our way through the summer! Time to reflect on all that you have accomplished in the past two months.

Prepare

  • This is a good time to review and update your program plan so you will make the best use of the remainder of the summer. What do you need to accomplish by Month 3 to put your venture and yourself in the best position to hit the ground running in September?
  • Start with your winning aspiration for the summer. What would be an amazing outcome by the end of the summer? Then think about the top 3-5 things you need to do to get there – then start doing those things.

Learn

Build

  • Review everything you have done since the first week. Start with segmentation and beachhead market, review your persona, review your proposed solution and the competitive advantage. Think about your core and moat, and think about your DMU/DMP. Does everything make sense? What insights did you gain this month that might inspire you to update the work you did in Month 1?
  • Make sure everything is logical and the market and customer and their problems informs the solution you are building.

Reflect

On your venture

  • Complete the Month 2 rubric and discuss it with your mentor
  • Set up a session with your mentor(s) to share your current status and discuss next steps. The rubric is a great discussion guide for this conversation.

On your team process

  • Revisit the RACI framework once more to look at roles and responsibilities, and adjust expectations as necessary.
  • Have you taken the time to appreciate your team for their hard work? If not, do it this week.

On your personal growth as an entrepreneur

  • Complete this worksheet to take inventory on what you have learned, and how you would like to apply this knowledge.

Trivia question of the week:

  • Who came up with the 40% threshold for the product/market fit survey question?
